"I'm sorry if my words might have hurt you". She apologized sincerely

Seeing the sincerity in her all the anger and pain I felt vanished away

"Dinner is already served, please come join us". Eric's aunt smiled at me and led me to the table

I followed her to the dining table and took a seat while I noticed Eric took the seat opposite me.
