My lungs burn. My chest still jerks with aftershocks, but Kael doesn’t give me time to recover. His hand grips my jaw, iron-tight, forcing my gaze up to his.
“Think you’re done?” His voice is a low growl. “You’ve only just started.”
“I—I can’t,” I rasp, shaking my head. “I can’t—”
“You can.” His thumb presses against my lips, prying them open. “And you will.”
The other men close in.
Kael jerks my head toward him. “Open.”
“No—please.”
The crack of his palm across my face silences me. Heat blooms across my cheek, shame tearing through me.
