Alex mostly looked at me that way, so I was used to it, but what made me know I was exceptionally beautiful was Carlos's face when I stepped in.

“Woah!” He said. “You look so beautiful.” He yelled. This made me blush even more than Alex's gaze.

“I'm ready.” I said to him when I reached him.

“You really are.”

Without wasting time, he led me out of the bedroom, straight to the ballroom.

When I reached, people were filled, two times the number that came for the first dinner party. The difference was that the people who were here mostly seemed familiar. Alex's business friends and acquaintances....
