She looked at it.

"Maybe," he said. "I won't know until I work through the structural logic." He looked at the sketch. "But maybe."

She looked at the two versions side by side. The broken one and the fixed one.

"It's good," she said. "The fix."

He looked at her. "You can tell?"

"The proportions are better," she said. "The fixed one looks like it meant to be what it is. The other one looks apologetic."

He stared at her.
