I was halfway through the contract review when my office door opened without a knock.

I didn't look up. Only one person in the world walked into my office without knocking.

"I heard something interesting," Liam said, dropping into the chair across from my desk like he owned it.

"I'm busy."

"You paid for an exclusive. A whole month." He leaned forward, elbows on his knees. "The guy you took home that night."

I turned a page.

"That's quite the investment Rhen." He tilted his head. "I mean I knew you needed to get out more but I didn't think you'd go that far."
