Helena's voice cut through the quiet as she paced the room, her teeth worrying her fingernail.

"If Kaida wants to ruin you, then why is she organizing a press conference to announce that your wedding is back on?"

That was the question, wasn't it? Too bad, I didn't have an answer for her.

"Well?" She prompted, her eyes digging into mine

"I don't know."

Her frown deepened. "What do you mean you don't know?"

"Exactly what it means," I snapped, making her flinch.
