I jerked and completely hid myself behind the trees, but I was pretty sure the man had seen me. My wolf growled, urging me to shift and confront them, but I wasn’t sure if I could defeat them. Who were they, and what were they doing at Andrew’s house? Or did I come to the wrong house?

While catching my breath, I tried to think. My best chance was to escape. I could see the main gate from where I stood, but would I be fast enough to run there and avoid getting caught?
