"Are you sure you saw a stranger in the neighborhood of the mansion?" Mom asked with a doubtful face.

I nodded because that was exactly what happened. I told her what had happened, but the weird part was Mom did not seem to believe it. What if the person was an enemy? Why were there not any guards patrolling around, anyway?
