"You are really going to stay over?" I asked, repeating Gwen's words hopefully.

"Yes, that is right. I will stay here," Gwen replied with a smile.

Today is the weekend. Who knew they would be able to go out together. I did not want to interfere with their plans.

"What about Jeremy? Is he okay with you staying here?" I asked out of doubt.

"It is okay! Jeremy's working part-time today too! He already knows I am here and he is fine with it," Gwen replied lightly.

How happy they were. I forced myself to smile, not wanting to upset my best friend with this mood....
