I wanted to take a shower, but Louis had not come with a change of clothes and food, as I ordered on the phone. Lizzy was still in the same state. Her eyes were still closed. Her body was motionless and her head was bandaged. A respirator was supporting her life.

"My wife. When the food comes, will you eat too? I am worried that since you have not eaten yet, you might get gastritis. I remember, when we were shopping, you said you wanted to eat steak. Can you still get up and eat with me?" I whispered in Lizzy's ear.
