There were two things I quickly realized when the high-pitched sound that was the alarm woke me up. First, after I reached for my phone to drown out the noise, I realized that I had slept about half an hour longer than usual. That meant someone had returned to my room every ten minutes to reset the snooze time, three times. Secondly, I realized that the empty extra bed I'd made yesterday was a mess, the wool blanket thrown over my bed.
