I had to admit that what Jayden said was true, but I knew that I couldn't back out at that point. He had already read my reaction, and he knew that he was onto something. I could not help but use his pride or his stupidity or maybe both to keep my plan, the plan to bring him together with her, on track.

I just hope this decision won't come back to bite me in the ass later on.
