A short time later, I heard the door to my room open, and then Rachel was coming through the sliding glass doors to join me outside. Like last night, she was wearing her robe, and I had to fight the urge to tear it off then and there.

"Mind if I have some of that?" Rachel asked, pointing to my half-full glass of mimosa.

I passed it over as she sat in the chair next to mine. "Take as much as you want."

Rachel did so, draining the glass in seconds.

"You're supposed to savor it," I said, shaking my head. "Sip, not chug."

"Oops," Rachel shrugged in exaggerated innocence....
