"I want you, Amanda," he whispered, looking down at her.
"Oh, Tanner," she whispered back. "I want you too. But I'm married. I love my husband." I could tell her remaining resistance was unraveling fast.
"I know," Tanner acknowledged. "But he's not here, is he?" He leaned in towards her so that their foreheads were almost touching.
I saw Amanda consider Tanner's question, the tension between them reaching a boil. I knew that deep down, though, Amanda had already made her decision.
