Fernando sighed as soon as he said that and closed his eyes.

"Fer," Lia started but he shook his head.

"You guys are acting like children. And why are you so concerned if she magically disappeared and is back, Lia? Shouldn't you be happy to have your mother back?"

Lia blinked repeatedly, her eyes watering. Fernando had never shouted at her before-well not since they became a real couple he hadn't. She leaned back in her chair and just stared.

"You owe us an explanation," Fernando said, eyeing Janet and she gulped.

She nodded. "Yes I admit I disappeared on the wedding day but I swear it wasn't my fault."...
