I was shocked when I stepped out of the bathroom and discovered that Kyle wasn't present.

“Where's Kyle?” I stuttered as I stared into her eyes and realized that she was definitely gone, this was difficult to believe, wondering where she must have eloped to.

I dressed up so fast, when I got to the receptionist I had to inquire about Kyle's absence.

“I would like to know where my wife is”

“What did you just say?”

“I just said that my wife is missing, and you're here asking me to repeat my words”
