I tapped my pen against my desk as I tried to make sense of the equation on my sheet. I tried studying this but couldn't get the hang of it.

My desk mate Julian gave me a knowing look. He was also stuck.

I stopped clicking my pen when I realized it was the only sound in the classroom, which was completely silent besides the sound on pencils scribbling on paper.
