“Of course not. I didn't want any form of celebration. In fact, Steve just got to know fear minutes ago. Only Scott knew about it.” Veronica explained to Megan.

“Hmmmmm.” Megan muttered, her tone noncommittal and her expression neutral. “Are you sure?” She asked.
