“You shouldn't have cut me off,” I said, trying to sound stern as I dressed. Ross chuckled, a knowing glint in his eye.
"You enjoyed it, and now you're complaining," he teased.
I scoffed, feeling my cheeks grow warm despite myself. The memories of what had just happened still lingered, and I couldn't deny the truth in his words.
As I finished dressing, I stood up, and Richard, who was also getting dressed, caught my attention.
"Why did you beat Penny's sister?" I asked, my voice firm.
Richard's expression turned ugly, and he hissed, but Ross interjected, "I just need to put her in her place.”
