"How are you feeling today?" I asked Mum standing at the foot of her bed,

"I am happy to see you" she replied plastering a small smile on her face but you could tell it was just an act, she looked drained,

"I want you to meet someone," I said turning to look at Paige who stood by the door, she looked nervous and I don't even know why, it was just my mum, this was not even their first time meeting,

"Paige" Mum called out softly as her gaze fell on her,
