"What, how come? was she sick or something?" Paige asked shocked, I wouldn't blame her tho she knew nothing about it,

"She was diagnosed with lung cancer but I just found out two months ago" I replied watching her eyes go wide,

"And you didn't say anything" she shot at me her expression slowly morphing into one of anger,

"I am sorry, I thought you wouldn't want to know as we aren't on the best of terms, and you were battling with Alex's attack and finding Alvin I didn't want to add to it" I defended feeling worse than I did earlier,

"You call that an excuse really?"...
