THIRD PERSON POV
Lora paces back and forth in the prison visitation room, her lawyer sitting across from her, looking somber. "There's nothing we can do, Lora," he says, shaking his head. "You've already confessed to the crime. The evidence is stacked against you."
Lora's face twists in rage. "What do you mean there's nothing we can do?" she demands, her voice rising. "You're my lawyer, it's your job to get me out of here."
The lawyer sighs, looking unruffled. "I've done everything I can, Lora. But the prosecution has a strong case against you. Your confession, the evidence...it's all pointing to a guilty verdict."
Lora's anger boils over, and...
