I watched as Sophie exited my house, her shoulders slumped and her eyes red from crying. A part of me felt like she was telling the truth, but it was rare for me to be drunk and not remember anything the following day. And it was only once since I met her that I had gotten drunk, and Marcus had told me how it went, but I still couldn't make sense of why I didn't remember anything about that day.
