"Let go of me," I said, trying to wriggle my hands free from his grip. The coldness of his touch sent a shiver down my spine, and I fought against the wave of dizziness that threatened to consume me.

"Tell me you love me, then I will let go," he replied, his voice low and insistent, as if he truly believed he could manipulate me into submission.
