"Is there anywhere you want to go, Izzy?" I asked Isabella on the phone.

"Hmm... maybe on a picnic?" she replied, her voice filled with excitement.

"Cool! You are a chef, so the food and snacks are on you," I teased.

"No problem, boo," she beamed, and I could almost picture her smiling on the other end of the line.

"Should I come and pick you up?" I inquired, glancing at the clock.
