Smiling nervously at her, I glanced at Belshar, my brows arching.

"This is Victoria. She's a caregiver and will be assisting you from now on"

"She is?" I asked, holding his gaze, and he nodded, his expression neutral and unreadable. Was he doing it on purpose? We never discussed that I would be getting a caregiver.
