"Oh," Karen gasped, then pulled away from the kiss.

I stared at her, my heart pounding as I took in her flushed face and swollen lips.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I watched her try and catch her breath.

"Celine. Celine and Belshar are here. They were the ones who told me about where you were. I was scared to come alone, so they came with me"

I shook my head as I sucked in a deep breath. "I know," I said, then turned, and pointed to where Celine's phone was peaking through the hallway by the side of the wall.
