“I’ve been waiting all day.” My voice echoes off the stone walls of the indoor pool as I watch the bodyguard come through the doorway and stop at the edge of the water. “You forgot about me, Killian.”

“No.” His jaw flexes. “I didn’t forget.”

“You disappeared,” I accuse him, slowly lowering myself into the water, aware of his eyes traveling over my curves beneath the surface. He likes to watch me. He just doesn’t want me to know it. “Where did you go?”

“None of your business.”

I see a muscle jump in his cheek. “You broke the rules.”

“What rules are those?” He doesn’t budge...
