I was still frozen when Vanessa appeared out of nowhere and shoved Emma hard.

Wait, I just kissed a girl, I immediately cleaned my lips with the back of my hand but I still felt her stupid lips!

“Stay away from my boyfriend,” she snapped.

The hallway went quiet.

Emma stumbled back and then she changed her expression from surprise to amusement. “Your boyfriend? She laughed. “Vanessa, sweetie everyone knows Riley isn’t your boyfriend and you’re just the clingy friend who follows him around.”

“I didn’t come for you.” Emma cut her off, shifting her gaze to me. “I came for him.”...
