I watch as Araceli begins to walk away. The vampires release us.

Eduardo - Araceli, you can't leave. (She turns around.)

Ara - Why not?

Eduardo - You're mine.

I gaze into her eyes; she removes her hood and mask, meeting my gaze.

Ara - Eduardo, don't make this harder. Think about your pack; you're the only Alpha they have.

Eduardo - Yes, but without my mate, I don't want to live.

Ara - Let's do this: tomorrow, I'll come to your house to say goodbye. (She turns to look at the vampires, they reluctantly nod in agreement.)

Yolanda - Don't worry, guardian. I'll take care of Eduardo....
