After quenching my thirst, I clean my mouth and get up. I look at the lifeless animal and all I can think of is running as fast as possible to get away from there. I can't understand how I did that. When I come out of my daze, I find myself back in the building where I rent, but I still can't figure out how I got there so quickly. So I enter without being seen and head to my apartment. I lock the door, go to the bathroom, and take a shower to clean up.
