Lucifer laid Melanie on her bed, he covered her with the blanket and turned on the table lamp.

He sat next to her, on the edge of the bed and held her hands in his, he kissed her knuckles tenderly.

He moved some fallen strands of hair away from her face, then smiled at her.

"My sweet darling, you've worked so hard.. I'm sorry for stressing you so much" he said.
