I didn't know where I was going, all I knew was that I wanted to be far away from him as possible. As my bare feet slapped against cold road, each step sent pain shooting up my spine and I could feel my body shutting down but I had no choice, so I kept moving.
I saw people look at me and they all had the same look. I mean what are the chances of seeing a heavily pregnant woman crying and walking aimlessly barefooted at four in the morning. None of them stopped to help me or even ask if I was fine.
