"I haven't gotten to know her much, but from the little time I've been seeing her, I would like to know her more," Roman said, his tone low and sincere, his gaze fixed on the table between us. "I know it's going to take a while before she accepts me, it's normal. I'm sure every girl her age would feel the same. That's why I'm going to take things slow, and I'm not going to tell her yet.
