While looking at what Roman was staring at, I finally understood why he said that particular phrase — you have to be kidding me. The disbelief in his voice made sense the second my eyes landed on the woman sitting at the table ahead of us.

 “Well, she wasn’t hard to find,” Roman said, sarcasm dripping from every syllable.
