While waiting for Allison to come out of the room, I prayed that the rain wouldn't stop anytime soon so I could spend some time with her. It felt selfish to always want her around, especially since I had taken those moments for granted before.

I sat down in the wine cellar, slowly sipping a glass of wine, when Allison finally emerged from the room. She was already putting on my hoodie, which reminded me of the countless times she'd worn my clothes whenever she visited me.
