Axel’s POV

“Axel, it was a trap,” Greg said beside me.

I was frozen to the spot as my head started working at a thousand thoughts per second. I thought I was on top of the plan. I thought I had figured it all out and this was going to be an easy victory.

But I was terribly wrong, and I had realized that they were two steps ahead of me.

If they weren’t here, there was only one move they could make that would make them win this -and that was attacking my city while I was here searching for them.
