Violet’s POV

Emily and I started off walking but as the sounds of battle increased ahead of us, she picked up her pace and I followed behind her.

My adrenaline was already pumping, and I couldn’t wait to get to the field and join in the battle.

The sound got louder, and the thumps started hitting deep in my stomach. Rather than bring fear or cold feet, it made me fired up. I was even more thrilled to continue heading straight to where the war was.
