Chapter 43: Axel's POV

I was overwhelmed with a feeling I couldn't describe as I watched her throwing herself at another man when she should have been with me.

I marched down the rest of the distance to where she stood, my body growing spontaneously as anger brewed inside of me.

"I asked you a fucking question!" I growled glaring at her. "What do you think you are doing?"

Fear flashed in her eyes but she straightened her shoulders and dared to stand her ground before me.

"I was talking... With my friends," she said and my wolf growled in irritation at how easily she lied.
