Axel’s POV

My heart tore into multiple layers by Asher’s question.

My eyes turned red as emotions curled through me. I opened my mouth to speak but words failed me. I turned to Violet, but she had her eyes fixed on her cousin. I wished I had protected our bond so that I could communicate with her at this moment.
