"And she left?" Devon's internal voice questioned.
'Obviously, only she had the audacity to do that.'
"Put her into a cell, not the dungeon," Devon instructed.
'He listened?'
"Meeting adjourned, all matters postponed," Devon shouted once more.
He hurried towards their chamber and found her sitting by the window, staring intensely outside.
'First, he was looking at that woman. Second, he didn't even listen to me. Third, he was so cruel to that woman.'
Unaware of a certain figure entering the room, she remained lost in thought.
