She snatches from me before I can read what’s written inside, then she stands up. “Don’t open it. It’s not mine,” she denies.

“Abbygail, give that back to me, and I want to see what’s inside, or that’s another creepy message sent to you.”

She glares at me. Shit. This is not good. I just blurted out that I knew about the creepy note.

“What another creepy message you’re talking about?”
