"Are you going to stand there all day?" Logan asked as Antonina remained rooted at the main entrance to the mansion.

"I'm going to stand here until you take me back to my house," she said stubbornly, hugging herself as she looked around in discomfort.

Logan shifted his weight from one foot to the other, something at the back of his head telling him she was thinking about the night of the engagement party. He felt guilty and felt the need to apologise again, but could not find it in him; after all, it was not like she was also not keeping things from him....
