Cape Town was no place short of crime, especially gang shootings. It was such a commodity to hear that someone was shot, to the point where it became a norm. Today it was a little girl playing in her yard, and tomorrow, a young boy walking back from school.

Detective Zoe Botha was no longer surprised, she attended to all these calls.
