Daniel's POV

Both Anna and Vee were absent for breakfast and it could only mean one thing.

"Why do I feel something is off?" Gideon asked on our way back from church.

"I think Vee had a nightmare because that's the only time they both skip breakfast." Jason answered.

"Yes and her brother came around with his friend and I think he had something to do with what happened to her." I told them explaining the situation I saw the previous day.

"That's messed up." Jason said and I couldn't agree less.

I mean they are cousins and he's close to her elder brother and how does he keep up...
