Jonas led me out of his enormous room while holding my hand so gently, expecting that I would be scared to roam in this place I was not familiar with. To be honest, I thought vampires lived in old, dilapidated, and dark palaces, always lingering in the dark and the shadows, wearing old-fashioned clothes. But I am completely wrong. This place is much more elegant than Tyrell Palace; the furniture is well crafted and expensive looking, the vases and other decorations look so aesthetic and exquisite and anyone will get embarrassed to step onto the carpet for looking so lush and immaculate.
