I didn't even have a chance to introduce myself. Her hands felt so warm against my back, and the way she hugged me made it feel as though I'd known her for years.
"Oh darling, it's so wonderful to meet you," she babbled happily. Holding me at arm's length to study my face, she shook her head. Her gaze shifted from my eyes to my hair, then back to my face.
