“You give me my baby, and I won’t rip you to shreds,” I say to the man who is holding Trisha. She can’t cry because her mouth is taped closed, but I can see that her face is red, and she has tears streaming down her cheeks. I think she might be having trouble breathing. I need to get to my daughter now.

“You will let me walk out of here, or else the baby gets it,” the asshole says back to me with a disturbing smile on his face.

I shake my head. “No. That’s absolutely not happening. My daughter and these other kids are not going anywhere...
