But he narrows his eyes, his left brow twitching with disapproval. Alpha King Tobias of Crystal Waters is anything but patient with things that might bring change to this rotting kingdom.

“He’s not welcome here,” he grunts.

“Prince Kai of Green Mountain has already set sail,” I argue. “What are we going to do, turn him away at the shore?” The prince was understanding when he realized we have no modern airports here. He’s wasting months of his precious time, and my father is so ungrateful.
