I felt like I couldn't breathe, my chest felt congested and I could feel my eyes dilating.

I struggled to open my eyes and was shocked to realise that the bullet didn't penetrate my skin. It fell to the floor like it was nothing.

How could this be possible? Does it have something with Kayden giving me his blood?
